Do you dream of uninterrupted days where all you have to do is write?
With a whole weekend, what would you work on?
Outlining your next trilogy?
Diving deep into a draft?
Using the peace and quiet to develop several new ideas?
If this dream needs a little reality, join me this July for Scribble-Scribble, a writing retreat where we respect the work, write in companionable silence, and celebrate getting words on the page!
When? July 25-28, 2025
We arrive on Friday afternoon and leave on Monday morning.
Where? Birdy’s House in Delhi, NY, a gorgeous little town nestled into the Catskills.
Kay Keppler, aka the Perle Mesta of Delhi, will be making sure we’re fed and watered with regular meals, snacks, and drinks. She’s an accomplished contemporary romance author as well as the owner of Birdy’s House.
Cost? $250/person with meals & lodging or $150/person with meals only
What’s Included?
The weekend will start with a few writing sprints to warm you up for longer and longer periods of writing. And then, you’re on your own to do what needs to be done.
During the weekend, everyone will get a one-on-one coaching sessions to empower you with your writing goals with me, a Kaizen-Muse Certified Creativity Coach who helps writers overcome obstacles, disarm overwhelm and make progress on their work.
Occasionally I’ll be checking on everyone with reminders that small breaks can renew and refresh you for another couple of hours of writing.
What can you do on those breaks? Within walking distance, you’ll find:
A cafe
A bakery
An ice cream stand
Historical sites like the local library and courthouse
Adorable New England neighborhoods
Art galleries and other shops
At mealtimes, we’ll connect and converse about everything we did that day!
Does it all sound like a glorious dream? Then join us to Scribble-Scribble!
